Madrid-based illustrator and author Riki Blanco has been developing a body of work combining press, publishing, animation and communications for over fifteen years. His style, nourished by a retro aesthetic inspired by the 1950s, combines graphic rigor, elegance and a sense of concept. He works with major titles such as The New Yorker, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Wired, El Pais, Libération, Le Monde and Les Echos, as well as with institutions and brands such as Discovery Channel, MAIF, Paramount Comedy, L'Auditori de Barcelona and Soho Rep Theater. Winner of Spain's Premio Nacional d'Illustration and the International Prize of Interactive Animated Book, Riki Blanco is also active in stage design and art education.
