A personal view of the city
More than a hundred artists have taken part, portraying their relationship with Barcelona, whether they love it or loathe it. Places, everyday scenes, anecdotes and episodes of city life appear through a wide range of perspectives.
For this cover, Khasanova depicts a street scene outside a closed café. A dog, pigeons and several passers-by fill the space, capturing an urban moment in which small stories seem to intersect.
Barcelona beyond the postcard
Rather than show familiar monuments, the illustration focuses on an ordinary scene. Attention to the people, animals and details of the setting turns the cover into an observation of local life. It reflects the project’s spirit: discovering the city through the personal, sometimes unexpected perceptions of those who live there.
