Miki Lowe is a British-Japanese illustrator who was raised in France and is based between London and Spain. Her visual world, shaped by her multicultural heritage, is enriched by references drawn from design and the decorative arts. She works primarily with ink, brush, and paint, employing a graphic language that is both minimalist and expressive, blending spontaneous gesture with a sense of ornamentation. Her work spans a variety of fields, from publishing and textiles to interior design and packaging, exploring worlds imbued with poetry and subtle mythological accents. Her clients include Christie’s, Frieze, Dior, Miu Miu, the Financial Times, The New York Times, and Penguin Random House.
