In issue 3203, published on 5 February 2026, Le Nouvel Obs ran a special feature on Parcoursup, France’s higher-education admissions platform. Agnès Ricart created four illustrations to accompany its different sections.

Visualising a complex journey

One scene shows a student with a backpack crouching in front of a small opening and examining it through a magnifying glass. It distils the search for a path, close attention to possibilities and the difficulty of finding one’s way through a complex system.

A coherent series to guide readers

Ricart’s vector-based style produces clear images that read at once. Together in one feature, the four illustrations create visual signposts and give the pages rhythm without repeating the text. They lend a shared identity to the different questions around Parcoursup and lead readers from one article to the next.
