A new visual identity for Strike

Strike, a blockchain-based banking app, wanted to refresh its visual identity. The brand turned to Shotopop, which developed an energetic monochrome world combining the expressive power of traditional illustration with references to contemporary technology.

The direction gives Strike a visual language that makes its world feel more vivid and approachable. Currency symbols, references to time and moving forms crowd the compositions by design. A restrained palette set against highly expressive imagery holds the system together.

Bolt and Thundrin’: two central mascots

At the heart of the identity are Bolt and Thundrin’, two mascots Shotopop created with distinct personalities. They carry the project’s energy and offbeat tone, right down to their 360-degree views. They give Strike instantly recognisable characters that can appear across different media.

These characters are more than decoration. They anchor the visual world and give a tangible face to banking services built on technologies that can seem abstract to a wider audience.

A graphic system between finance and digital culture

The project shows how Shotopop turns a technical subject into an expressive illustrated world. Financial cues, digital references and visual humour come together in a coherent, distinctive system flexible enough to extend beyond a single image.
