Pulsations! Festival at the MUCEM

Illustration by Ludwick Hernandez: Colorful and dynamic poster for dance workshops and festive evenings at MUCEM

The poster for the Pulsations! festival at MUCEM

MUCEM commissioned Ludwick Hernandez to illustrate the poster for its Pulsations! dance festival in the 2025–26 season.

Expressing movement through illustration

The colourful, dynamic composition foregrounds the energy of dance. Bodies, gestures and graphic rhythm give the poster a sense of movement even when it is seen on a static surface.

A visual identity across the festival programme

The image accompanies the dance workshops and festive evenings announced by MUCEM. Its approachable style makes the event easy to identify, while its palette and composition give it a character of its own. Hernandez’s illustration brings the different moments of Pulsations! together under one visual identity designed to catch the eye and convey the programme’s lively atmosphere.
