Twelve illustrated labels for Gipsy Hill Brewery
Gipsy Hill Brewery invited Shotopop to create twelve labels for its special releases. The collaboration also extended to several exclusive merchandise pieces, carrying the same visual world beyond the cans.
Each illustration features a face connected to the brewery: Gipsy Hill team members, collaborators and other people involved in the project. Together, the portraits turn the collection into a shared story and connect the products directly with the people behind them.
Where two creative worlds meet
Shotopop brought its colourful, minimal and lively visual language to the series. The cast even includes a supercharged version of Catface, the studio’s mascot. This playful nod links Gipsy Hill Brewery’s world with Shotopop’s and gives the collection an upbeat tone.
The graphic treatment lets each label retain its own personality without losing the collection’s unity. Together, the twelve designs form a coherent family that stands out both on a shelf and online.
A collection distributed across the UK
The cans appeared in subscriber boxes and in shops across the United Kingdom. The project brings illustration, packaging and collectable design together in a series made to be discovered one piece at a time or as a whole.
