Adrien Ehrhardt created the 3D animation for Christian Dior Parfums’ 520 Asia film. His work brings to life the butterflies decorating the gift box featured in the film.

Bringing the box’s design into motion

Pink butterflies surround a heart-shaped motif on the Dior box. The animation extends that design, turning printed elements into a living presence. The transition from physical object to digital movement preserves the motif’s delicacy while creating a sequence made for film.

Working in 3D allows the butterflies to move with precision and fit seamlessly into the film’s overall aesthetic.

A production involving several studios

The project was developed with Christian Dior’s creative studio, director Romain Prochain, represented by Beaumonde Paris, and Studio Janvier. Ehrhardt contributes specialised 3D animation expertise to this collaboration, serving a visual treatment consistent with the identity of Christian Dior Parfums.
