A visual manifesto by Shotopop

Time is a personal project by Shotopop, made without an external brief or imposed framework. The studio brings together several of its creative playgrounds: traditional animation, 3D, artificial intelligence, illustration and collage. That freedom lets the techniques speak to one another instead of forcing a single visual direction.

The project showcases the studio’s range. Images flow through a dense, deliberately shifting composition: a red face, a dancer, digital collage elements and pink typography meet against a bright background. Each sequence introduces a new change of pace while sharing the same energy.

A deliberately hybrid creation

The mix of media gives Time its purposeful instability. The animation does not hide the differences between techniques; it makes them visible and turns them into the film’s driving force. Each shift in texture brings a surprise and guides the eye through a world in constant transformation.

This approach shows how Shotopop can combine illustration, movement and digital experimentation in one visual narrative. More than a stylistic exercise, it reveals a creative method built on assembly, rhythm and curiosity.
